The Green Frog Festival is our opportunity to share a little of Wilburton's
 heritage as well as celebrating the progress we are making today.

The Green Frog was actually a cafe in Wilburton from the 1930's to the early 1970's. 
 It had several owners over the years but was always a place to go for a hamburger after
 the ball game or picture show.  Sometimes it was the place to find the sheriff,
sometimes a place to pick up the kids after a ball game, because the bus stopped
there instead of going back to the school.  Many times it was the only place open
 for rail passengers and workers on the late night runs.
The Green Frog was a place that touched many peoples lives that lived or
visited Wilburton and the surrounding area.

Of course we had to do a few other things with Green Frogs too.
